GenCon – The funnest ‘Con we’ve been to in years When you think of board games you typically think of the traditional mass-market games like Monopoly, Sorry, and a slew of others that have been around since your creation. Like many people I grew up playing those games but moved on to some of the ‘fringe’ games like D&D and numerous titles from vendors like Avalon Hill and SSI. As I reached adulthood I branched out even further and started getting into tabletop games like Necromunda, Warhammer, and other miniatures based table-top games. Despite what I thought was a healthy … Continue reading
Is the AlienCon Gold Pass worth the price? Ancient Astronaut Theorists say, “Meh.” #AlienCon is a convention for fans of the show “Ancient Aliens” and it’s stars. In June of 2018 it was held in Pasadena. Here are my afterthoughts about the show and it’s value. The first AlienCon was held in the Bay Area of Northern California. At the time we really wanted to go but since it was the first year, we decided to wait it out and let them work out the kinks. Plus the timing was just a little too close to Phoenix Comic Fest, or … Continue reading
What an awesome time! So many people came by our booth to chat and share some thoughts, and for that we say Thank You! A special thanks to our old friends that visit us year after year! We had a Mystery Science Theater 3000 trivia contest and was amazed that not only are there people with as much silly MST3K facts in their head as I have, but even more! We saw some great costumes, great T-Shirts, and of course great people. Thanks again and we will see you all at Phoenix Comi… Fan… Pop… a-thon or whatever the hell … Continue reading

Railing Kill Radio Is (Back) On The Air! So, a few months ago I posted about Railing Kill Radio and it’s inaugural broadcast featuring a review of the new Mystery Science Theater 3000 season on Netlfix. It was my goal back then to continue the PodCasts on (at least) a weekly basis. But, as usual, life gets in the way. We have been preparing for Phoenix Comic Fest which was MUCH more of a chore than we thought with all the new merchandise and booth upgrades. Anyhoo, after Memorial Day we will be starting full force with our PodCast channel, … Continue reading
First off, we want to say Thank You to all the people that came by our booth to talk about MST3K and Linda’s Amigurumi. This year was our best con ever and we look forward to seeing and meeting even more people next year! OK, now on to the photos and memories: Linda debuted her MST3K Mad’s from the new Netflix season, as well as Ninja Turtles, Rick and Morty, and my favorite, Bitch Pudding! I also introduced some MST3K inspired t-shirts And of course, a big shout out to the MST3K fans that came by:
It’s finally here! Booth locations for Phoenix Comicon 2017 have been announced. We got a really good location this year so be sure and check us out! Linda will be debuting her NEW Mystery Science Theater 3000 lineup including Jonah, TV’s son of TV’s Frank, and Kinga! And we’ve added a new robot to the mix, GYPSY! The Gypsy doll is a limited edition and only a few will be available at the show so stop by early. So come on over and say hi, check out Crow and Servo, and let’s chat about MST3K! See ya there!
First, a little bit of background. Way back when the Kickstarter campaign started and the thought of bringing back MST3K was first tossed about, some expressed concern that the new show was going to try and be an extension of the old tried and true format with characters that were going to be VERY hard to replace. When Joel announced the characters and the actors that were going to play them, the concern grew. It would be hard to continue with the existing line-up of Crow, Servo, Forrester, Frank, and the rest given the impact the original players left when … Continue reading
What a great time! You look forward to it all year long and then when it gets here, it’s over so quickly! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and chatted, and especially those that bought Linda’s beautiful Amigurumi dolls. She sold out of several designs so if you place an order on her website or on etsy, please allow a couple extra days to catch up. I want to thank Joel and his wife for stopping by with his Tom Servo, and a special thanks to someone I’ve known online for a couple of years and ran into accidentally at … Continue reading
This is the last weekend before Phoenix Comicon, which means scrambling around like idiots trying to get everything ready. At least two more prints are ready: An MST3K print package wouldn’t be complete without Pearl and the Gang. I don’t know that I will have time for a newer version of Dr. Forrester and TV’s Frank. The second print is of our all time favorite movie hero, Big McLargehuge… Otherwise known as Reb Brown in Space Mutiny. It includes all of the riffed names he is referred to by Mike and the Bots. See you June 2nd through the 5th … Continue reading
